October festivus!

We enjoyed a family harvest day this weekend! The Larsons headed out to our second annual Schuh Farms day! We took Carter last year, and it was a blast!!!! Last year Carter was quite young though and we were very eager to see how he'd react being a year older!

We met my parents, brother Joe and his gf Claire, and our friend Tyler and his daughter Ankya(Carter's OLDER lady friend). We thought we were going to do exactly what we did last year: face painting, hay ride, corn maze, treats, petting zoo, shopping, pumpkin picking, etc. Boy were WE wrong. Our trip consisted of train rides, the petting zoo(most interest was with the pigs) and more train rides! Only a couple pumpkins were picked and I don't think Carter even made it to the patch! He was off with his Papa back to the train!!!! He even put the moves on Anyka!

After we fought through the tears of Carter being torn from the train, he quickly passed out and even stayed asleep while we went out to lunch!(should have sent him home with my parents) I sure was missing the infant carseat as I watched Luke struggle to eat his Monster Burger while holding his monster son.
Later, we indulged in chicken chili and lovely pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. It was one beautiful harvest day!!!!!!
